ICI Setup

The Intercompany Insights setup allows you to configure the company as a data sharing company, a data requesting company, or both.

  1. To open the ICI Setup page, choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter ICI Setup, and then choose the related link.
  2. The ICI Setup page contains two FastTabs: Data Sharing Company and Data Requesting Company, with the following fields:

Data Sharing Company

  • Enable ICI Availability - Specifies whether the company can send availability information when requested.
  • Include Location Code - Specifies whether the ICI stockkeeping units should be created per location code.
  • Include Empty Location Code - Specifies whether the ICI stockkeeping units should be created with an empty location code.
  • Current Company API Endpoint - Specifies the URL of the API for the current company.

Data Requesting Company

  • Hide Missing Item Error - Specifies that the system will suppress the "No Item in filter" error, allowing processes to continue smoothly without interruption due to missing items in the data sharing company.
  • Show Only Non-zero Availability - Specifies whether information about items that are not available should be received from an intercompany partner.
  • Items Per Message Limit - Specifies the maximum number of items per message, allowing large refresh requests to be divided into multiple messages for efficient processing.
Important

The standard "Items Per Message Limit" field from the IIC Setup table will be removed in BC 26.0. Instead, a new "Package Size" field was added to the ICI Endpoint Card page. Change the connection on the endpoints to Web Service by specifying the web service address for the API.

  • Requested Items Filter - Specifies the filter within which item availability information can be updated by users and a job queue. If no filters are specified, the availability information will be updated for all items.
  • Max Session Timeout - Specifies the maximum duration of the session request in milliseconds for web service calls, after which the session will be automatically terminated.
