Installing the Application

This topic describes the prerequisites and installation of Cash Desk Management installation for Dynamics 365 Business Central online i on-premises.

Installing the Application for Business Central online

To install the application (even if it is only the free trial version), first you must perform the buying process on application offer page on Microsoft AppSource. To purchase the app, follow the steps in the article Buy on AppSource.

To install the Cash Desk Management for Dynamics 365 Business Central online, follow these steps:

  1. On the Microsoft AppSource Apps page, set a filter to find Cash Desk Management.

  2. Place the cursor on the application name and select the application.

  3. In the App Overview window that is displayed, choose the Install App action to run the installation process. The installation process may take a while.

  4. To check if the application has been installed successfully, go to the Extension Management/Installed Extensions page where you can view the list of all installed applications.

Installing the Application for Business Central on-premises

To install the Cash Desk Management app for Business Central on-premises, follow the steps below:

  1. Download the installation file from the IT.integro Product Portal. Add the 52063110 Cash Desk for D365BC application to the customer license.

IT.integro Product Portal can be accessed by authorized IT.integro Partners only.

Caution

To install the application, ask for assistance of the authorized IT.integro partner.

  1. Run Dynamics NAV Administration Shell as an administrator.

  2. To publish the Cash Desk Management app, run the command:

Publish-NAVApp -ServerInstance TwójDynamicsNAVServer -Path ".\\IT.integro sp. z o.o._Cash Desk Management_[version no.].app"
  1. To synchronize the Cash Desk Management app, run the command:
Sync-NAVApp -ServerInstance TwójDynamicsNAVServer -Name "Application Name" -Version NrWersji -Tenant [Tenant1, Tenant 2, default]\`
Tip

You can skip the Tenant parameter or set it as default in single-tenant installations. In multi-tenant installations, it is necessary to specify each tenant to be changed.

  1. To install the Cash Desk Management app, run the command:
Install-NAVApp -ServerInstance TwójDynamicsNAVServer -Name "Application Name" -Tenant [Tenant1, Tenant2, default]
Tip

We recommend installing the most recent version of the app.
