Bank Account Setup

To ensure proper operation of Electronic Banking Base App, it is necessary to set up bank accounts accordingly. Additionally, when using interfaces that use web services, you may need to configure your service and user certificates.

Bank Account Card

To create a bank account card:

  1. Choose the Tell me what you want to do, icon, and enter Bank Accounts and then select a related link.
  2. On the Bank Accounts select the New action.
  3. Regardless of the banking interface, it is mandatory to configure the following fields:
  • IBAN,
  • Bank Acc. Posting Group,
  • Currency Code (if other than the local currency code).
  1. For some interfaces, you will need to additionally set up the following fields:
  • Bank Branch No,

  • Bank Account No,

  • SWIFT Code,

  • Bank Clearing Standard,

  • Bank Clearing Code,

  • Country/Region Code.

If the fields are not filled in, payment proposal and bank statement errors are displayed.

Important

The bank account cannot be set up in the banking mechanism available in the standard Dynamics 365 Business Central application. Therefore, leave the following fields blank:

  • Bank Statement Import Format,
  • Payment Export Format.

The same fields must be set up for employees, customer and vendor bank accounts.

Note

When setting up the payment proposal template and bank statement templates, the error message is displayed about the fields that are empty due to the incorrect setup of the bank account. For customer/vendor bank accounts, the error message will only be displayed when the payment proposal is checked against errors. In such a case, changes should be entered both in the customer/vendor bank account cards and payment proposals. To enter the changes, you need to unhide the columns for the lines.
