End-to-End ID Application
The application based on mapping of the the End-to-End ID on the bank statement is automatically triggered when the bank statement file is imported.
Entries to be applied can be searched in the payment proposal archive. If the application finds an archived line with an identical payment identifier, it records the recipient entry number (customer, vendor, employee number).
Then, the application checks, if the entry is correct and if it has not been applied before, and if all details in the line match the corresponding entry details. If the entry fulfills all the requirements, an applies-to id is assigned to a recipient (customer, vendor, employee) ledger entry and the line is displayed in bold (this means it is fully applied).
The line is fully applied, if the corresponding entry amount (the entry with the End-to-End ID):
- is the same as the amount in the corresponding bank statement line or,
- is the same as the sum of amounts in the corresponding bank statement detailed lines when payment amounts are split into multiple transfers.
Note
To check if the line is fully applied, compare the amounts in the Amount field in the bank statement line with the sum of the Amount to Apply field values in the bank statement detail lines, related to the specified bank statement line. If the amount difference is 0, the line is marked as fully applied and displayed in bold.
