Detailed Payment Proposal Lines
If you want to create a transfer that is not linked to any ledger entry or to fill in the lines created by suggesting payment, you must enter changes in detailed payment proposal lines.
Entering Changes in Detailed Payment Proposal Lines
- To display payment proposal lines, select the Line action on the Payment Proposal page, and then Detailed Lines in the payment proposal line or select the Amount field in the payment proposal line.
Note
You can access detailed lines by choosing the Amount field, only if the line exists in the database.
- To switch the list into the edit mode, select the Edit List action.
- The Detailed Payment Proposal Lines page contains the following fields:
- Recipient Entry No. - Specifies the number of a recipient ledger entry. If no entry is selected, the line is not linked to any existing ledger entry.
- Amount - Specifies the amount specified in the currency used in the entry or line (if the line is not linked with the entry).
- Amount (Line Curr.) - Specifies the amount in the payment proposal line currency based on the currency exchange rate set in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Amount (LCY)- Specifies the amount denominated in the system local currency based on the currency exchange rate set in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Bank Acc. Curr. Amount (BCY) - Specifies the amount to be transferred, denominated in the sender’s account currency based on the currency exchange rate set in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Tip
The Bank Acc. Curr. Amount (BCY) and Amount (LCY) fields contain dynamic labels. This means that the brackets in the label contain the relevant currency code of the sender’s bank account and the local currency code.
Note
By default, the list of available recipient ledger entries contains a filter that is set by recipient type, recipient number and currency, according to the values from the created payment proposal line. You cannot select an entry with a currency code other than the code defined in the payment proposal line.
If a recipient entry is selected, the amounts are checked for the maximum transfer amount permitted for an entry (as on the Recipient Entry Worksheet page). After selecting an entry, you can enter any amount.
In the Amount in Bank Transfers field that is available on the Vendor Ledger Entries and Customer Ledger Entries pages, it is possible to view the total amount assigned on payment proposals to the recipient entry. This field is hidden by default.
Note
If you enter different values in the Recipient Bank Account field of two payment proposal detailed lines, the Recipient Bank Account field will be empty in payment proposal lines.
