Working with Advanced Product Configurator
After setting up the required user settings, configurator attributes and configuration types, you can start creating new items, item variants or production orders (according to the setup entered). The process should be initiated on the Configuration card page. You can set up a configuration in the two following ways:
- directly as a new configuration,
- indirectly, based on a sales order or a sales quote.
After creating the configuration, fill in the required data, test and run the configuration. By testing the configuration, you can detect potential errors that make running the configuration process impossible. If any errors are detected, follow the instructions displayed in error messages.
After running the configuration, an item, item variant or a production order is created. If the configuration was created from a sales line, the system automatically updates the sales line according to the configuration values.
