Operations Performed while Upgrading the Application
To facilitate the upgrade process between versions and automate some of the related activities, the upgrade codeunits have been added in the [!include[electronic-banking-md](includes/electronic-banking-md.md)] applications. When the application version is upgraded, the steps described in the following article are performed in the background.
Electronic Banking Base App
Changes Performed When Upgrading to Version 2.3.0
- Creating default settings for the Remittance Advice report has been added. For more information, see Remittance Advice.
Changes Performed When Upgrading to Version 1.3.0
- A feature for creating default source code for posted bank statements has been added. For more information, see Source Code of Posted Bank Statements.
Changes Performed When Upgrading to Version 1.2.0
- A feature for the creation of links between the existing bank account file in the system and the import interfaces has been added to the ID-to-Account Mapping table. For more information, see ID-to-Account Mapping.
Tip
Due to the functional changes introduced in version 1.7.0 and 2.0.0, a new action has been added to create the missing data required for the proper operation of the Electronic Banking Base App application. To initialize the necessary settings:
- Choose the , icon, and enter Electronic Banking Setup.
- On the Electronic Banking Setup page in the Process menu, select the Initialize Electronic Banking Base App action.
- All data necessary for the operation of the application will be created in the background.

Version Independent Changes
- A call for a function updating the interface definition has been added. For more information, see Initializing Interfaces.
Changes Performed When Upgrading to Version 3.0.0
- Definitions from the VAT Bank Accounts have been copied to the new structure of ID-to-Account Mapping page, because the VAT Bank Accounts functionality has been marked as Obsolete. For more information, see VAT Bank Accounts and ID-to-Account Mapping.
